From Hamster-Wheel to High Performance:

Rethinking Employee Health Insurance

Audience Watching Presentation

My Mission

Employers have been conditioned to accept rising health insurance costs as inevitable—trapped in a cycle of renewal meetings, premium hikes, and limited options. But what if that hamster-wheel isn’t the only path? In His talks, Charles Gragg empowers business leaders to rethink employee health benefits, uncover hidden drivers of cost, and implement proven strategies that transform health insurance from a runaway expense into a controllable investment. By shifting perspective and embracing innovative solutions, employers can reclaim financial stability, enhance employee well-being, and redirect resources toward sustainable growth of balance-sheet assets instead of wasted expense.

Fundamentals of Self-Funded Healthplans

A Broker's View

Charles shares his wealth of experience in training brokers to view hplans as a sustainable asset for their clients (the Corporate Employer) by transforming their mindset into fiduciary roles and responsibilities in health plan design and processing.

Health Agents for America would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Charles Gragg for his outstanding presentation during our recent Education Thursday session on self-funded health plans.

The feedback from agents across the country was overwhelmingly positive. Many attendees shared that the workshop was one of the most informative and practical sessions they have attended, praising the clarity, depth of knowledge, and real-world strategies Charles provided. The discussion on self-funded solutions gave agents valuable tools to better serve their clients and expand their expertise in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

As President of HAFA, I personally found it to be one of the best workshops I have attended. Charles delivered complex information in a way that was easy to understand, engaging, and immediately applicable to an agent’s day-to-day work.

Get Off The Hamster-Wheel:

An Employer’s Guide to Controlling His 2nd Largest Operating Expense – Employee Health Insurance

Get Off the Hamster Wheel reveals the fallacies of our modern health care system, so that CEOs, senior executives, HR professionals, benefits advisers, and employees of a corporate group health plan can slash expenses.

Charles W. Gragg, CEBS, REBC, RHU, a results-focused senior executive whose background includes leadership roles in group insurance and financial services, as well as third-party administration, addresses how to solve one of the most challenging problems in the health care economy.

The groups he highlights have all been intentionally kept in the dark regarding simple fixes to the health care system. After reading this book, however, everyone will discover how easily we can overcome problems tied to burgeoning health care costs.

The key to solving the crisis, he argues, is finding a new way to access health care for your own good. With the right tools, you can make these changes rather quickly, and the best news is that outcomes will improve overnight.
It’s time to end the same old routine by resolving an overwhelming frustration and getting off the hamster wheel.
